Watercolour
Used masking fluid to keep the highlights white
Then wet into wet and build up the layers light to dark
Must get my paints out or start using this wacom tablet as I am getting inspired by the digital painting seen in DA.

Wave frothy by *Ezeg is one of those cases where I think it should be given a DD purely on the case of technical execution (an explanation of which is usefully provided in the description), and for attention the details thereof. (Suggested by ~yellowochre and Featured by `zeruch)

Wonderful painting... the foreground looks almost like milk. ^^ Makes me want some. You do so well with watercolors...

I can almost smell the water.. Lovely :)

About the masking Fluid, do you apply it straight away or it has to be diluted first?

direct from the bottle
WARNING always check using a sample piece of your watercolour paper with the masking fluid first.
Paint on fluid dry, paint over fluid dry, rub off masking fluid. This will test the paper to see if the paer comes of with the masking fluid! You have been warned.

OK! Two problems! I can't over-lay the brush strokes of the masking fluid as one of them rubs the previous one off! and the paper does come off when i remove it! :(

OK
Tip
Dedicate one brush to applying the masking fluid, as it will get ruined.
To apply the masking fluid and keep a good point on the brush dip the brush in some washing up liquid and wipe it all nearly off. This will also make it easier to clean off the masking fluid.
Apply the masking fluid in a thick liquid layer to give you more time to move it around filling the area to be masked. Be quick
If it removes the paper you have to use different paper Fabriano works well for me. Always test paper.
